MOUNTAIN GORILLA SAFARI
Visit the impenetrable rainforest of Bwindi National Park for an
unforgettable meeting with the endangered mountain gorillas of
Uganda!
Day 1 Kampala - Bwindi National Park
After breakfast we depart Kampala and drive to the southwest of
Uganda. With some stops for lunch and at a local market we will
reach the impenetrable forest of Bwindi late in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Engagi Lodge. (L-D)
Day 2 Gorilla tracking
The highlight of your safari: a meeting with the gentle giants!
Especially hikers will love the tracking in the beautiful
ecosystem of the park. Especially hikers will love the tracking

foresee how many hours you will hike but expect to walk a long
distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain
overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will
definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they
eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience!

Day 3 Bwindi National Park - Kampala
After breakfast we calmly head back towards the capital city.
Look out for zebras and impalas along the road as we pass Lake
Mburo National Park, and take some photos at the Ugandan
equator. Arrival in Kampala in the evening. (B-L)
